Zuffa Boxing Officially Announces Lineup for Debut Z01 Tournament

The newly formed boxing promotion Zuffa Boxing has officially introduced the fight card for its debut tournament — Z01. The main event of the evening will be a middleweight clash between Irish prospect Callum Walsh and experienced Mexican Carlos Ocampo.

Callum Walsh (15-0, 11 KOs) essentially became the first boxer the Zuffa structure began working with even before the official launch of numbered tournaments. His opponent, Carlos Ocampo (38-3, 26 KOs), represents a serious test, possessing significantly more professional experience on his record.

The following pairings will take place on the main card:

– Julian Rodriguez (24-1, 15 KOs) vs. Cain Sandoval (17-0, 15 KOs) Welterweight bout

– Misael Rodriguez (15-0, 7 KOs) vs. Austin Deanda (17-0, 11 KOs) Middleweight bout

– Callum Walsh (15-0, 11 KOs) vs. Carlos Ocampo (38-3, 26 KOs) Middleweight bout

The Walsh vs. Ocampo fight will be the headline attraction of the tournament.

In addition, the following bouts will take place as part of the Z01 event:

– Troy Nash vs. Jacob Ramos

– Robert Meriwether III vs. Cesar Correa

– Emiliano Cardenas vs. Marcus Cortez Harris

– Floyd Diaz vs. Guillermo Gutierrez

Omar Trinidad vs. Max Ornelas

The tournament will take place on January 23 and will be broadcast on Paramount+.
