Chinese heavyweight boxer Zhilei Zhang (27-2-1, 22 KOs) has expressed his willingness to step into the ring with influencer-turned-boxer Jake Paul (10-1, 7 KOs). Zhang also praised Paul's upcoming opponent, former undisputed world champion Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs), calling him his idol.
"A fight with Jake Paul? Yes, I would do it. Who wouldn't want to make some money? It's a way to earn if it happens. I grew up watching Mike Tyson's fights, and to me, he was like a god of war. Now, in his 60s, he's fighting a guy in his 20s—that's already an incredible achievement. I truly wish him all the best and good luck," Zhang said.
The Tyson vs. Paul event is scheduled for November 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, USA. This will be an official bout, with the result counting towards both fighters' records. The event will be the first boxing night to be streamed on Netflix.
