Chinese heavyweight boxer Zhang Zhilei (27-2-1, 22 KOs) has identified the hardest puncher he has ever faced. According to the 41-year-old veteran, that distinction goes to American Deontay Wilder (43-4-1, 42 KOs).
"At this point, it’s Deontay Wilder. He hits very hard. In the fifth round, I took a powerful shot, but I managed to endure it and then knock him out," Zhang stated.
In June, Zhang Zhilei defeated Deontay Wilder via a fifth-round technical knockout. This marked Wilder’s fourth loss in his last five fights.
Zhang’s next fight is scheduled for February 22 against Agit Kabayel.
