Insider: Zepeda and Farmer to Fight for Interim Title

According to insider and journalist Salvador Rodriguez, the bout between 28-year-old Mexican William Zepeda (31-0, 27 KOs) and 34-year-old American Tevin Farmer (33-6-1, 8 KOs) will be for the WBC interim lightweight title (up to 61.2 kg).

The full WBC title in this category is held by American Shakur Stevenson, who injured his hand while preparing for a fight against Joe Cordina and is currently in recovery. His return is planned for early 2025.

Zepeda and Farmer will meet on November 16 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The fight will take place on the undercard of the unification bout for the WBA and WBO titles in the cruiserweight division between Chris Billam-Smith and Gilberto Ramirez.
