Hearn has expressed interest in a potential showdown between Joshua and Ngannou

Eddie Hearn, promoter of former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, spoke about the possible bout between his fighter and former UFC champion Francis Ngannou, stating he is interested in holding such a fight.

 "The Ngannou vs Joshua fight is 1one of the most high-profile fights that can be made in any sport. I called Francis and asked who I needed to talk to about the fight. He replied that it's directly with him. I liked that. Concerning boxing, Ngannou has a lot of questions to deal with. It seems to me that he now wants to gather around him a team with which he can overcome this hurdle," Hearn said.

 Earlier it was reported that Tyson Fury could fight Ngannou if negotiations with Oleksandr Usyk come to a standstill.
