Xander Zayas: “You can’t run from me anymore. I’m a world champion.”

The newly crowned WBO Super Welterweight champion Xander Zayas reflected on his victory over Mexico’s Jorge Garcia.

“I needed to be fast and explosive. We made adjustments right there in the ring, but we knew his left hand drops every time he comes forward to attack.

I hope the big fights get made. You can’t run from me anymore. I’m a world champion,” Zayas said at the post‑fight press conference.
