Work on a Title Fight for Joshua in Progress

Queensberry Promotions' head Frank Warren has revealed that Brit Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) could indeed face the winner of the bout between Daniel Dubois (20-2, 19 KOs) and Filip Hrgovic (17-0). The IBF title will be at stake.

- Ultimately, the Dubois vs. Hrgovic fight might depend on what happens with Fury, Usyk, and the IBF title, but could they be in line to fight for it? The winner of that fight against, perhaps, Joshua?

- I don't know. As of now, I don't know, we're working on it. We're working on many things. Look, it's like a bus, and we're like at the stop. All these good news will arrive together. Patience is a virtue, said Warren.

Dubois and Hrgovic are expected to meet on June 1st in Saudi Arabia. Filip is the mandatory challenger for the IBF title, currently held by Oleksandr Usyk. There's a possibility that the IBF may not sanction a potential rematch between Usyk and Fury and will declare its belt vacant.

It is anticipated that Dubois, Hrgovic, and then Anthony Joshua will compete for it. Joshua is currently ranked third by the IBF.

At the same time, the WBO and WBC have stated that they will sanction the rematch between Usyk and Fury if it takes place.
