William Sepeda to Fight on March 29

The date for the return of interim WBC lightweight champion William Sepeda (32–0, 27 KOs) has been announced.

According to ESPN journalist Salvador Rodriguez, Sepeda will step back into the ring on March 29 in Cancún, Mexico. The identity of his opponent has not yet been revealed.

In November, Sepeda defeated Tevin Farmer by split decision to claim the interim WBC lightweight title. His next scheduled opponent was supposed to be division champion Shakur Stevenson, but the fight was postponed due to an arm injury sustained by William.
