Deontay Wilder's Return: Trainer Dropped Major Hint on Comeback Fight!

Malik Scott, the cornerman for former heavyweight champ Deontay Wilder, let the cat out of the bag when his fighter might bounce back into the ring:

"We're eyeing a slot on the Joshua - Ngannou undercard. It's an open book about the fighters we're lined up with, but let's play the waiting game. We haven't put pen to paper yet. Priority one is to keep Deontay in fighting shape," quipped Scott.

The bell for the Joshua-Ngannou bout is set to ring around March 8, but the exact date's still up in the air. Wilder lost by a nod from the judges to Joseph Parker last December. Tossed in the mix as a likely contender for Deontay is Zhilei Zhang.
