Wilder's Opponent - A Controversial American?

Promoter of American heavyweight Jarrell Miller (26-1-1, 22 KOs), Dmitriy Salita, suggests organizing a bout between Deontay Wilder (43-3-1, 42 KOs) and his client.

"The fight with Dubois was supposed to be won, but Jarrell did not show himself and what he could have shown. That's the merit of Daniel Dubois and his coach Don Charles – they put up an incredible fight.

Miller would like to return in May or June. There were some talks about his fight on March 8th on the undercard of Joshua – Ngannu, but it went the way it went. He couldn't travel, and he had to recover after the fight with Daniel Dubois.

So yes, May, June. A fight between Jarrell and Deontay Wilder can be interesting – they both showed mediocre performances. Miller has only one loss in the ring, so he definitely deserves another chance. Daniel Dubois, both on paper and in the ring, is a better fighter than anyone he has fought," said Salita.

The last time both fighters were in the ring was on December 23, 2023. Miller was defeated by Daniel Dubois in advance, and Wilder lost by decision to Joseph Parker. In January, Jarrell was charged with carjacking with assault or battery.
