Wilder Confident Fight with Ngannou Will Happen

Former heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder is confident that a fight against Francis Ngannou will eventually take place.

"Me and Francis — that fight still needs to happen. It’s been mentioned a couple of times recently. We’re just trying to figure out how we want it to happen between me and Ngannou. I’m definitely interested, and so is he.

I think it’s only a matter of time. It looks like it’s going to get done, but it’s all about the details and everything else. I’m looking forward to it, so stay tuned," Wilder said.

Wilder has lost four of his last five fights, but remains one of the division’s most dangerous punchers.
