Ex-world heavyweight champ Deontay Wilder (43-3-1, 42 KOs) threw his hat in the ring for a face-off with reigning WBA, WBO, IBO, and IBF king Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) following the delay of Usyk and Fury's match:
"I'm geared up for Usyk. Ready anytime, anywhere.
Training time? Whether it's a quick three weeks or a full eight, doesn't phase me.
I'm a born fighter, geared to take on anyone," declared Wilder.
The Usyk-Fury bout's been pushed to May 18 due to Fury's injury. Meanwhile, buzz has Wilder possibly lighting up the undercard at the Joshua-Ngannou event on March 8 in Saudi Arabia.
