Wilder on meeting with Parker: "A boring bout"

Former heavyweight (over 90,7 kg) champion Deontay Wilder (43-3-1, 42 KOs) shared his thoughts on his bout against Joseph Parker (34-3, 23 KOs):

"It was a boring fight. Nothing really happened. The next day, I went back to training.

He really didn't do anything, they just turned up the pace in certain parts of the fight or something like that. Preparing for this match, I had to spend 20 hours on the road twice. And the guys were already in Europe.

I'm not complaining, just telling you what I had to go through," Wilder told EsNews.

On December 23, 2023, Wilder faced Parker in Saudi Arabia. After 12 rounds, the judges awarded the victory to Joseph.
