According to insider Dan Rafael, the teams of Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua have reached an agreement for two fights between their boxers. The main points of this agreement have been agreed upon. It is about financial issues.
The fight's organizers will presumably be Riyadh Season, which finances big fights in Saudi Arabia. It was through them that negotiations for this bout were conducted.
Contracts are expected to be signed before the boxers enter the ring on December 23. Namely, the confrontation will occur if both fighters win that day.
Both boxers will fight next on December 23 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Joshua will face Otto Wallin, while Wilder will face Joseph Parker.
In an interview before his bout with Parker, Wilder named three fights he would like to fight in 2023:
"Against Anthony Joshua, Anthony Joshua and Anthony Joshua again," Deontay said.
