British heavyweight Dillian Whyte (31-3, 21 KOs) has withdrawn from his scheduled fight against countryman Joe Joyce (16-3, 15 KOs) due to an injury, talkSPORT reports.
The bout was set to headline the April 5 Queensberry Promotions card at Co-Op Live in Manchester, UK. The event also featured Lawrence Okolie vs. Richard Riakporhe in the co-main event and the professional debut of Olympian Delicious Orie.
Promoters are now actively searching for a replacement opponent for Joyce. One potential candidate is 31-year-old American Jermaine Franklin (23-2, 15 KOs), who previously lost to Whyte by majority decision in 2022.
