Whyte: "I Won't Wait for Anyone"

In an interview with Boxing Social, British heavyweight (over 90,7 kg) contender Dillian Whyte (30-3, 20 KOs) responded to Joe Joyce's (16-2, 15 KOs) challenge to fight him.

"I'll fight anyone. If it makes sense, I don't care. I won't wait for anyone. I've never turned down fights.

Anyone who wants to fight me can get it. I need to see my kids and my dogs. I need to take care of some things at home. If I could stay at home for three weeks or a month, that would be great.

I don't know what's next for me. I just want to fight. Let's see what happens. I want to go home, relax, and see what to do. I don't care where the fight is. Wherever I find work, I'll go there. I just want to fight. My time is running out, I'm not getting any younger," said Whyte.

On March 18th, the 35-year-old Whyte scored a technical win over Christian Hammer (27-11, 17 KOs) after three rounds when his opponent declined to continue the fight. RTD 3.

This fight was Whyte's first since 2022, when he won by decision against Jermaine Franklin. Since then, Dillian had not fought due to a suspension over positive tests for banned substances. However, through legal proceedings, the Brit proved his innocence.
