Whittaker Stops Cameron in Round Two — No Doubts This Time

On April 20, at Resorts World Arena in Birmingham, UK, Boxxer Promotions staged a card headlined by a light heavyweight rematch (up to 79.4 kg) between Ben Whittaker (9-0-1, 5 KOs) and Liam Cameron (23-7-1, 10 KOs).

Whittaker left no questions unanswered this time, scoring a second-round TKO. Cameron stopped responding to Whittaker’s clean, sharp shots, prompting the referee to step in and wave off the bout.

Their first meeting, on October 12, 2024, ended in controversy after both fighters fell out of the ring following the fifth-round bell. Whittaker was injured and unable to continue. The judges called it a technical draw, with scorecards reading 58-58, 58-57 (Whittaker), and 58-57 (Cameron).
