UFC President Dana White shared his thoughts on why Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) appeared to perform better against Francis Ngannou than Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs).
"I didn't watch the fight. I saw the posts on social media.
If Fury had prepared for the fight with Ngannou and didn't show up looking like he ate Tyson Fury, probably their fight would have ended the same way.
You know how I feel about crossovers in boxing, and that's exactly how they end up. Just like that," White commented.
Joshua and Ngannou fought on March 8th, with Anthony knocking out his opponent in the second round. Tyson Fury fought against Francis in 2023 and won by a split decision.
