When Will Dillian Whyte Return? Brother Reveals Details

The brother of British heavyweight boxer Dillian Whyte, Dean Whyte, has shared what to expect from his brother’s career in the near future.

"I think we’ll hear something soon. I can’t go into details, but hopefully in the next few months. I know he and his team want to get back, so I’m sure we’ll hear something. That’s all I can say.

A fight against Bakole? Not really, I don’t think so, not right now. Dillian needs to focus on his own path. Fights have been offered, and I think Dillian is still a bit rusty. He’s only had one fight in about two years, so I think he needs a few more good fights, at least three or four, to shake off the rust.

Joseph Parker, Zhang Zhilei, Martin Bakole – all these guys have had three or four fights and gained momentum. Dillian needs that momentum. If he goes into the ring without it, he’s destined to lose. He needs to bet on himself, take his time, and build up momentum," said Dean Whyte.

Dillian last fought in March 2024, where he scored a stoppage victory over Christian Hammer. Whyte is currently 36 years old.
