Fight Night Nears: Inoue, Tapales Hit the Scales!

Naoya Inoue and Marlon Tapales squared off in a pre-fight stare-down after tipping the scales for their showdown for the undisputed crown in the junior bantamweight class (max 55.225 kg).

The Japanese fighter clocked in at 55.1 kg, while the Filipino contender registered 54.9 kilograms.

Their face-off is slated for December 26 in Japan, at Tokyo's Ariake Arena. It's a rumble for the undisputed title.

Inoue, who snagged the WBC and WBO straps from Stephen Fulton, squares off against Tapales, the holder of the WBA and IBF titles he nabbed from Murodjon Akhmadaliev, Uzbekistani professional boxer.
