WBC Grand Prix Start Date Announced

The World Boxing Council (WBC) has officially announced the start date for its highly anticipated Grand Prix tournament. According to WBC President Mauricio Sulaimán, the action kicks off on April 17.

“Get ready for the Boxing Grand Prix in collaboration with Riyadh Season. A total of 128 fighters will step into the ring to determine the new generation of boxing champions.

The tournament will run from April 17 to 20 in BlvdCity,” said Sulaimán.

The event will feature competition across four weight divisions: featherweight; junior welterweight; middleweight; heavyweight.

Each division will host 32 fighters, with all bouts taking place in Saudi Arabia.
