WBC Grand Prix: Round of 16 Results in the Heavyweight Division

On 21 June in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Round of 16 of the WBC Grand Prix took place. In the second stage, prospects compete in four weight classes: featherweight, super lightweight, middleweight and heavyweight.

In the heavyweight division, the following bouts were held:

Overall statistics for the Round of 16 bouts in the heavyweight division:

– 62.5 % of bouts went to the judges’ scorecards — all by unanimous decision

– 37.5 % of contests ended inside the distance

– Average bout length: 5 of the scheduled 6 rounds
