Warren Wants to See Yard vs. Buatsi Next

Frank Warren, the head of Queensberry Promotions, has expressed his desire for Anthony Yarde (25-3, 24 KOs) to face Joshua Buatsi (18-0, 13 KOs) as his next opponent.

"Yarde has completely dusted himself off now. I think a fight with Buatsi should be made. Joshua was present at the boxing evening where Anthony performed. Their behavior was proper; they didn't cause the slightest nonsense.

This will be a huge fight. All parties need to adjust and make it happen," Warren wrote.

Yarde's last fight against Marco Nicolic ended in a technical knockout in the 3rd round. Buatsi won against Dan Azeez by decision in February 2024.
