Boxing promoter Frank Warren weighed in on the buzz about the IBF potentially stripping the title from the Usyk vs. Fury fight winner.
"We'll see post-fight," Warren said. "If the IBF does strip the title, it's a real downer."
Asked about any dialogue with the IBF, Warren kept it straight: "No talks yet. They've got their stance, and that's fair. But if it's a blockbuster deserving a rematch, that's what we'll get."
Warren also highlighted the financial clout of Riyadh Season, hinting that big money could sway the governing bodies' decisions. "With the high stakes, the sanctioning bodies might just turn a blind eye," he added.
The high-octane showdown, set for February 17 in Saudi Arabia, promises to be a spectacle in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
