Warren: "A Great Rematch Between Joyce and Parker Awaits"

In an interview with Boxing Social, Frank Warren, head of Queensberry Promotions and promoter of British heavyweight (over 90.7 kg) Joe Joyce (16-2, 15 KOs), commented on his client's victory over Kash Ali (21-3, 12 KOs).

"Joyce has returned after two losses. I think he needed some time to find his rhythm. But, in the end, he did what he had to do. I believe if Joyce had started to press earlier, he could have stopped Ali sooner, but he won by knockout and shook off the rust. Now Joe is moving forward.

Is there a chance for Joyce to return to the elite? I think we have a great rematch between him and Joseph Parker. After that, we'll know everything," Warren stated.

On March 16th in Birmingham, United Kingdom, Joe Joyce knocked out Kash Ali seven seconds before the final gong. In September 2022, he won by knockout against Joseph Parker (35-3, 23 KOs) in a fight for the title of "interim" WBO champion, after which he fought Zhang Zhilei (26-2-1, 21 KOs) twice in 2023 and lost by knockout both times.

Parker won against Zhilei by majority decision on March 8th.
