In an interview with Fight Hub TV, promoter of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) Frank Warren shared his expectations for the match between Anthony Joshua (27-3, 24 KOs) and Francis Ngannou (0-1).
"With his new trainer, Ben Davison, Joshua had a good performance last time. He did a fantastic job against Otto Wallin and got back in the game. He really could climb higher if he manages to stop this guy and do what Tyson couldn't. A lot of people will be watching that.
I think it's going to be a very tough fight for Francis. If he lands on AJ, Anthony is going to have problems. The guy can box a bit. That's what we're about to find out.
Ngannou is not a pushover. He's a smart guy with a good coach. They prepared well for the fight with Tyson. Can they do it better than last time? It's a different opponent. Tyson is a better boxer. We can't say AJ is a better boxer than Tyson. He has a good punch.
He's a good boxer, don't get me wrong. But in my opinion, Tyson is in a different class," Warren stated.
The bout between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou (0-1) is set for March 8th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
