Warren Explains Rumors of Usyk's Broken Jaw

Head of Queensberry Promotions, Frank Warren, clarified the rumors about the broken jaw of the undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) following his victory over former champion and Warren’s client Tyson Fury (34-1-1).

«We don’t know how the fight will affect both guys because Usyk looked like he had been in a brawl.

He had stitches on his eye, he was battered, and there were thoughts of a broken jaw, but in reality, it was a dental implant causing him severe pain,» said Warren.

The rumors started after Usyk did not immediately appear at the press conference following his fight with Fury. It was said that he had gone to the hospital with a suspected injury, but the rumor was not confirmed.
