Head of Queensberry Promotions Frank Warren shared his thoughts on the potential return of former unified heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs).
“Let’s see what happens on July 19. That, in my opinion, will be a catalyst for the heavyweight division.
We’ll see how everything plays out — who gets those four belts, who the mandatory challengers will be, and so on. It’ll be interesting. Tyson isn’t part of it at the moment. You heard what he said over the weekend — but Tyson has bipolar disorder, and he says one thing, then says something completely different. He’s done it before.
I don’t know what he’s going to do. I don’t think he needs to fight, that’s for sure.
If he does return, it’ll be purely because he’s a true fighter,” Warren said.
Fury retired after two defeats to Oleksandr Usyk in 2024.
