Wardley Names Main Issue with Clark Rematch

In comments to BBC Radio, the British heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg) Fabio Wardley (17-0-1, 16 KOs) shared his thoughts on a rematch with Frazer Clark (8-0-1, 6 KOs).

"I'm always looking for big fights, big opponents, big events. I want to be part of big events, so for me, there are no steps back – it's always moving forward. I'm still undefeated, I still have my belts, I'm still at the top in terms of sanctioning bodies and rankings. There are a lot of options for me.

A rematch with Clark? It's definitely a possibility. The date is the main issue, but we're looking into it. I have a lot to learn from this fight. It was the first time I fought with such a huge cut, the first time I went 12 rounds," said Wardley.

On March 31st, Fabio Wardley and Frazer Clark fought to a draw, with the judges unable to determine a winner.
