Ward: "Jake vs. Tyson – A Spectacle"

In a broadcast on Fight Hub TV, former world champion Andre Ward commented on the upcoming fight between blogger-boxer Jake Paul (9-1, 6 KOs) and former undisputed champion Mike Tyson.

"It's a spectacle, I'm going to watch it. I don't know. I see people on both sides saying, 'Mike shouldn't be there.' Maybe not. But if there's a 56- or 58-year-old boxer I'm not too worried about, it's probably Mike Tyson. But it's risky... Well, Mike's life has been risky, it's been risky from his childhood and still is. Boxing is a risk. How are you going to tell a person with Mike Tyson's character... you can't tell him he has no chance in this fight. So I don't know what I think about it. But I'll watch the fight. For Jake Paul, it seems like Jake and his team have a strategy, picking the right names, and he continues to pick bigger and bigger names, so it's going to be interesting," said Ward.

The fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson is scheduled for July 20th at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The event will be broadcast on Netflix. It's still unknown whether the bout will be exhibition or professional.
