WBC heavyweight title holder Tyson Fury is in for another nasty story. The day before, the Briton said that his fight with Anthony Joshua would not take place and immediately challenged the German boxer Mahmoud Charr.
The German accepted Fury's challenge, but Tyson, after consulting with the promoter, gave up and said he was ready to give Joshua another chance.
This situation greatly angered Mahmoud Charr and the former regular WBA heavyweight champion criticized Tyson Fury.
Charr is unhappy with Fury throwing himself from one potential opponent to another.
"Fury, you're as much shit as Anthony Joshua. A man is a man. When you say Joshua is out of the fight, he's out. You're telling everyone you want to fight me, and now you're acting like a coward. fight," Charr wrote on Instagram.
Mahmoud Charr also said that he does not understand why Tyson Fury wants to fight Anthony Joshua, who has a losing streak.
"Fury, you're scared of my challenge. You and Joshua are scared and he's coming back after two losses. Why give him a chance?" Charr added.
Recall that Charr once fought for a full-fledged championship belt in 2012. Then the German boxer lost to Vitali Klitschko by knockout in the 4th round. The Ukrainian successfully defended the WBC title.
Since 2019, Charr has been performing under the name Mahmud, which was given to him by his parents at birth. He was previously known as Manuel. During his career, 37-year-old Charr spent 36 fights, winning 32 times (18 by knockout) and losing 4 fights.
