Vykhrist won his 10th victory in his professional career

Ukrainian boxer Viktor Vykhrist (10-0, 7 KOs) defeated American heavyweight Kevin Johnson (35-21-1, 19 KOs).

The meeting, which took place in Hamburg, Germany, lasted all 8 rounds. According to the results of the fight, the judges awarded the victory to Vikhrist.

Initially, the Ukrainian was supposed to box with the Bosnian Adnan Redzovich (22-6, 10 KOs). However, their face-to-face battle was canceled due to Redzovich's cold.

Before the fight with Johnson, Ukrainian Vykhrist defeated Georgian Iago Kiladze by TKO in the second round. The referee stopped the fight after the third knockdown of the Georgian.
