British trainer Dave Caldwell, who has prepared Derek Chisora and Dillian Whyte for their fights, exclusively gave his prediction for the championship bout between Luis Alberto Lopez and Angelo Leo, which will take place on August 10.
"This weekend we have a fight with Luis Alberto Lopez. The IBF featherweight world champion with a heavy punch, whom British fans might remember for his win over Josh Warrington and the destruction of Michael Conlan.
His opponent will be Angelo Leo, who was a very talented prospect known for engaging in exchanges and punching nonstop. His only loss is to Stephen Fulton, and now he is making a comeback.
Both are very aggressive and throw a lot of punches, but Lopez is more refined. I think there will be a lot of heavy punches, and Lopez's shots will wear down his opponent during the fight.
I am predicting a referee stoppage in favor of Lopez," said Caldwell.
Lopez and Leo will face off on August 10 in Albuquerque, USA. For Luis Alberto, this will be his fourth title defense.
