Valdez Defeats Wilson

On March 29th at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, USA, a fight for the WBO "interim" super featherweight title (up to 58.96 kg) took place between Mexican Oscar Valdez (32-2, 24 KOs) and Australian Liam Wilson (13-1, 7 KOs).

The bout ended with Valdez winning by technical knockout in the 7th round.

In August of the previous year, Valdez lost to Emanuel Navarrete (38-1-1, 31 KOs) by unanimous decision. Liam Wilson, in December, defeated Jackson John England (15-3, 8 KOs) by unanimous decision.
