Serbian heavyweight boxer and sparring partner of Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs), Sanel Hasanovic (7-1-1, 6 KOs), is confident that the Ukrainian will defeat Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) in the fight for the undisputed championship.
"I really enjoyed the experience of being in Oleksandr Usyk's camp. Besides the opportunity to train with a world champion, I gained a lot of confidence and significantly improved my boxing skills.
Usyk is a true champion, I think he will beat Fury. He doesn't attract as much attention to himself as Tyson does; meanwhile, he works hard in the gym.
I sparred with Alexander for 3 and 6 rounds per session, and in total, I spent a month and a half in his camp.
This is the second time I've helped Alexander in sparring; the first time was in Turkey a year ago. Both then and now, I was welcomed excellently. Usyk has very good and very proper people in his team.
If I don't have a fight scheduled and training planned, I would, of course, be ready to come again to the champion's training camp and help him prepare for May 18," said Hasanovic.
