Serhii Lapin Names Possible Date and Format for Usyk–Jake Paul Fight

Serhii Lapin, CEO of Ready to Fight and manager of undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, revealed when and in what format a potential showdown with American influencer and boxer Jake Paul could take place.

“Jake Paul and his team are playing boxing right now. And then we’ll see. I think next year we can play with them in MMA,” said Lapin.

In July, Usyk (24-0, 15 KOs) stopped Daniel Dubois in the fifth round of their rematch to reclaim the undisputed heavyweight crown.

In June, Jake Paul (12-1, 7 KOs) scored a unanimous decision victory over former world champion Julio César Chávez Jr.
