Known for conquering both the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions, Holyfield, in an interview with iFL TV, weighed in on the clash between WBC heavyweight titleholder Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) and the formidable Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs), who holds the WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO titles:
"This is going to be a real barnburner for both fighters. Usyk's got the grit, the resilience, and the speed. I reckon he'll come out on top. Fury's going to struggle to keep up with the barrage of punches Usyk's gonna throw at him," - Holyfield quipped.
In the ring against Fury, Usyk isn't just battling for a win. He's vying for the same historic status Holyfield proudly holds. Having showcased his prowess in the cruiserweight division, Usyk's quest for heavyweight supremacy is incomplete without the WBC title.
Mark your calendars for the epic fight of heavyweight titans on February 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
