Usyk Unveils Post-Boxing Aspirations: A Political Career and a Presidential Run

Ukrainian super heavyweight star, Oleksandr Usyk, has given insight into his plans following the anticipated showdown with Tyson Fury.

Usyk foresees himself reclaiming the absolute championship, but this time in the cruiserweight category. After that, he has his sights set on the Ukrainian presidency.

"I will return to cruiserweight, once again become the undisputed champion, and then I will make the move to politics and run for president," Usyk said.

Usyk also mentioned that the current Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, wouldn't be perturbed by his statement.

"Zelensky is calm because he has power," he noted.
