The next training camp for unified heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk (WBA, WBC, WBO, IBO – 23-0, 14 KOs) will take place in Valencia, Spain, as the Ukrainian begins preparations for his upcoming fight.
Usyk’s team also announced that they are currently recruiting sparring partners for the camp.
It was recently reported that Usyk and IBF champion Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) are close to finalizing terms for a rematch that would once again determine the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world (over 90.7 kg).
The bout is being targeted for July 12 at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London, UK.
The first clash between Usyk and Dubois took place in August 2023, where the Ukrainian champion scored a ninth-round technical knockout victory.
Usyk last fought in December, when he defeated Tyson Fury by unanimous decision in their highly anticipated rematch.
As for Dubois, he stunned fans in September by knocking out fellow Briton Anthony Joshua in the fifth round. He was later scheduled to defend his IBF title on February 22 against Joseph Parker, but withdrew due to illness.
