Usyk Plans to Play in Charity Football Match

According to ESPN, three-time undisputed world champion Oleksandr Usyk intends to take part in a charity football match in Portugal.

Sport Global founder and CEO Rasmus Soejmark revealed that the lineup will include Edwin van der Sar, John Terry, Michael Owen, Carles Puyol, Alessandro Del Piero, Henrik Larsson, Cafu, Roberto Carlos, and Kaka.

«All the other players are former footballers, but when Oleksandr Usyk asks if he can play, you say yes», said Soejmark.

Usyk’s goal is to promote the Usyk Foundation, which supports Ukrainian citizens and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The game is scheduled for September 15 at the Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon.
