Serhii Lapin, director of Oleksandr Usyk’s team and CEO of Ready To Fight, has addressed the possibility of a third meeting between the Ukrainian and Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KO).
“The idea of a third fight with Tyson Fury has been on the table between our teams ever since their second bout. And I have never doubted that, together with Goldstar Promotions, we can make it a reality.
Right now both Oleksandr Usyk and our entire team are fully focused on the upcoming fight with Daniel Dubois on 19 July and on achieving a historic goal—becoming undisputed world champion for the third time. As you’ve probably noticed, focus and total commitment are the bedrock of the champion’s and the whole team’s strategy.
When that goal—becoming undisputed for the third time—is achieved and the dust settles, we’ll be open to the next round,” Lapin said.
Earlier, Turki Alalshikh announced that Fury is set to return to the ring in 2026. The Briton later posted: “18 April 2026, Wembley Stadium. Trilogy!”
In 2024 Usyk defeated Fury twice, after which the Briton announced his retirement.
