Oleksandr Usyk on Ready To Fight and Tyson Fury's Invitation

In an exclusive interview with Ready To Fight, Oleksandr Usyk shared insights on using the platform and his personal dialogues with God.

Are you considering inviting Tyson Fury to join Ready To Fight after your bout?

Absolutely. We've assembled an exceptional team for this project. Often, when something new is introduced, it's initially misunderstood. Then, a notable figure endorses it, and suddenly, everyone says, "Oh, look what you've accomplished." What's commonly overlooked is the extensive team effort involved. It's a phenomenal amount of work and dedication from everyone. I'm deeply grateful to those collaborating with me. We plan to invite Tyson to join our community, though I'm not entirely sure he'll accept. Nonetheless, it's important to extend the offer.

How does Ready To Fight contribute to the development of boxers?

Ready To Fight is a vital element in today's world, dominated by the internet, smartphones, and computers. It helps budding athletes locate a coach, find a gym, and build a team. We provide essential information for boxers to find these resources in their own city or nearby.

A decade ago, when the internet wasn't as prevalent, it was challenging to find a sparring partner, a trainer, or a physician - that supportive team to help you advance and grow. Ready To Fight is dedicated to bridging that gap.

What are your personal prayers to God like?

Currently, my prayers are of gratitude. Ten years ago, my prayers were requests for strength and patience to endure my trials. But now, I thank Him most for all that I have. Whether I wake up or finish a workout, my prayer is one of thanks. God understands our needs, even when we can't comprehend them ourselves. We often want everything at once, but it's like trying to eat ten pounds of ice cream in one sitting – it's not feasible. You need to break it down, perhaps over ten days.
