According to insider Michael Benson, undisputed heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg) Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) has been hospitalized with a suspected broken jaw and will not attend the press conference dedicated to his fight against Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs).
The fight between Usyk and Fury lasted all 12 rounds and ended with Usyk's victory by split decision. The judges' scores were: 115-112 (Usyk), 114-113 (Fury), and 114-113 (Usyk).
Oleksandr Usyk is the first undisputed heavyweight champion since November 13, 1999, when Lennox Lewis defeated Evander Holyfield in a rematch.
