Usyk proposed a new fee distribution option to Fury

Oleksandr Usyk, the reigning heavyweight champion holding WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO titles, has proposed a new revenue-sharing model for a bout against WBC champion Tyson Fury.

The Ukrainian fighter has suggested a "60-40" split in favor of the victor, but Fury has rejected the proposal. Despite this, Usyk's promoter, Alex Krassyuk, has indicated that negotiations are ongoing.

Both boxers are scheduled to meet in London at Wembley Stadium on April 29th for the title of absolute world champion. Usyk is diligently preparing for the showdown, taking only one day off from his training regimen.

Previously, Usyk's team had proposed an even distribution of revenue with a "50-50" split, which was rejected by Fury's camp. Meanwhile, John Fury, Tyson's father, has suggested that his son should receive a 60-40 split. If negotiations for the unification battle are not resolved soon, promoter Frank Warren has indicated that he will explore alternative options for his client.
