WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) was asked if Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) could bring something unexpected to the ring in their rematch.
“I think even in a fourth fight, boxers can surprise each other. From what I see, I think he’ll use more uppercuts. Probably, he’ll work more with his lead hand and try to overwhelm me. That’s my opinion.
He has the first half of the fight—the first six rounds—to try things out. That’s one scenario. My team and I have several ideas about how he might approach the fight. We’ll see what happens in the ring,” said Usyk.
The rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury is scheduled for December 21 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In their first fight, Usyk won by split decision, becoming the first undisputed heavyweight champion in 25 years.
