Former world heavyweight champion from Britain, Anthony Joshua (27-3, 24 KOs), made a prediction for the fight between Ukrainian WBA, WBO, IBO, and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) and British WBC champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs), choosing a clear leader.
- Usyk will win. I don't know if I've always said this, but I believe Usyk will be victorious.
- Who do you want to win?
- Good question. Logically speaking, it would be Fury. Because it would be a bigger fight if he then faces me. If Tyson wins, it would be a huge fight for me, but that's the only reason why I named Fury. For my own selfish reasons, said Joshua.
The next fights for Joshua, Usyk, and Fury are scheduled in Saudi Arabia. First, Anthony will fight Francis Ngannou on March 8th. Then, Usyk and Fury will determine the undisputed champion on May 18th.
According to promoter Eddie Hearn, the winners of these bouts could meet.
