Usyk: "Not 'If', but 'When'"

In a comment to Seconds Out, the WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO heavyweight (over 90,7 kg) champion and co-founder of Ready To Fight, Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs), expressed his desire to have a match at the NSC "Olimpiyskiy" Stadium in the capital.

If you, as planned, defeat Fury twice, how do you feel about currently not being able to hold a fight in Ukraine? I know you and your foundation do a lot to help your country, raising money for new homes in Ukraine's devastated areas. But right now, if you won these two fights, you wouldn’t be able to return home, which you deserve.

Not 'if', but 'when'. I want to fight in Ukraine, to have a bout at NSC "Olimpiyskiy". My goal is to organize a match at the stadium. I think I'll do it.

The fight for the undisputed heavyweight championship between Oleksandr Usyk and WBC titleholder Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) is scheduled for May 18 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
