WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg) Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) shared his thoughts on the upcoming fight between former undisputed champion Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) and Jake Paul (9-1, 6 KOs).
«I don’t have a prediction for the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight because I’m not following its promotion. I’m focused on my fight. I don’t know if it’s a big show.
Would I consider a possible fight with Tyson if he said he wanted to fight me? No. That’s impossible because I respect Mike very much. For me, Mike Tyson is an icon. I truly respect him,» said Usyk.
Mike Tyson will face Jake Paul on July 20 in the USA. It will be a full-fledged boxing match, with the result going into the official records of the boxers. The event will be broadcast by the streaming service Netflix.
On May 18 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a fight will take place for the first undisputed world heavyweight championship since 1999 between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs).
