СEO of K2 Promotions Alexander Krassyuk has announced that he and unified WBA, WBC, WBO & IBO Heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk have ended their professional partnership. Krassyuk shared the news on social media:
“It has been an incredible journey—twelve years of extraordinary success. Two young dreamers met to change the game.
In 2013 I gave you my word, and I kept it. Back then no one believed we could achieve what we were aiming for, but with God’s help we pulled off an impossible mission.
Achievements we conquered together:
– September 2016 — WBO Cruiserweight World Champion;
– January 2018 — WBO & WBC Cruiserweight World Champion;
– July 2018 — Undisputed Cruiserweight Champion;
– September 2021 — WBO, WBA & IBF Heavyweight Champion;
– May 2024 — Undisputed Heavyweight Champion.
A dream became reality! Thank you for everything we have been through, and for the honour of being the lifelong promoter of a two-time undisputed champion. May God bless you and guide your next steps. I thank the Lord for it all.”
Looking ahead, 19 July could see Oleksandr Usyk become a three-time undisputed champion when he faces IBF Heavyweight title-holder Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium in London, United Kingdom.
