Usyk’s First Words After Vacating the WBO Title

Three-time undisputed world champion Oleksandr Usyk has spoken for the first time after relinquishing his WBO Heavyweight title:

“Congratulations to everyone. I sincerely thank the WBO for being with me. Thank you,” Usyk said.

Oleksandr vacated the belt, resulting in WBO Interim Heavyweight champion Fabio Wardley being elevated to full world champion. Earlier, the Organization was expected to order a fight between Usyk and Wardley for that same title.
